Payment for all services is expected at the time services are rendered, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session price.
Please be on time. If you are late, your session will be shortened to end at the scheduled time. There is no price break for shortened appointments unless arrangements have been made in advance.
Due to the potentially harmful effects of alcohol and drugs during massage or other healing work, and the associated liability, I am unable to provide services to clients with alcohol or drugs in their systems. By requesting or accepting massage or other healing work, you affirm that you have no alcohol or drugs in your system at the time services are requested or rendered.
It is recommended that you avoid eating heavily for two hours prior to your appointment.
Since this is a touch-oriented practice, it is expected that clients will have bathed the same day as their session.
Credit cards are not accepted at this time.
A fee of $30 will be charged for all returned checks.
Direct billing for insurance is not offered.
Unless you request otherwise, the massage will be a total body experience, including your back, legs, feet, abdomen, pectorals (chest), arms, neck, face, and scalp.
If you have any special requests, either for extra attention for a specific area, or an area you wish to be avoided, just let your therapist know and you will be cheerfully accommodated.
Draping will be used at all times during Swedish and deep massage. Only the body parts being addressed are exposed. Other modalities are done with the client fully clothed. The genitals are never exposed or massaged.
Privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
For every five new clients you refer, who purchase at least a one-hour session, you get a free one-hour massage.
Gift Certificates are available for any services, in any amount, at regular prices.
Advance purchases of a block of one-hour or longer sessions (three or more) qualifies for a discount. The discount depends on the number of sessions purchased. Ask your therapist for details.
